Our mission is to provide a safe, comfortable and accessible floating experience to our neighbors, friends and guests in the Oakland and surrounding communities. Every floater is unique, and comes to floating for their own reasons, and we strive to create an experience that supports the full spectrum of positive benefits that floating has to offer.

We believe that sensory deprivation is the key to activating the brain and body in new ways, and work to maintain the ideal conditions in our tanks and chambers for you to be able to experience a break from sensory input.

We believe the feeling of not knowing where your body ends and the water begins is glorious, so we keep the water at a warm skin temperature (~94 degrees).

We provide a reprieve from all screens and electronic devices both inside and outside the tanks.

We keep things simple, offering 2 traditional Samadhi float tanks and 2 hand-crafted floatation chambers with a sliding door.

Our expert float hosts are prepared to facilitate a good experience for all floaters - from first timers to weekly regulars.

We believe that your float shouldn’t end just when it starts getting good - which is why our standard float is a full 75 minutes. And if you want to float longer, you can!

Policies and Etiquette
Cancellation Policy
We are an appointment based company and our business depends on keeping to a schedule for our clients. To support this, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to make your appointment or cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged full price for your float (unless we can accommodate a reschedule within the same day).
Rescheduling
If you would like to reschedule, please call us at least 24 hours before your appointment and we will be happy to assist you in finding another time.
Booking
We require a credit card number on file in order to book appointments.
Arrival Time
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment to start on time.
Water Savings
We are a water based company and strive to decrease our footprint however we can. Please help us to this by limiting your showers to 5 minutes and using one towel and robe.
Mindfulness
We strive to provide a safe, welcoming and serene place for our clients. We ask that you refrain from talking loudly in our lobby area and hallways to support this endeavor.
Salt Water Solution
We ask you to treat our tank saltwater solution with care. Please shower before your float and do not leave anything behind in our tanks. If you have dyed hair, please see our FAQ. A solution replacement fee of $500 will be charged in the event of contaminated solution.
