Tanks & Chambers

We believe that our Samadhi tanks and custom made chambers provide the optimum sensory deprivation experience. We have two Samadhi tanks and two chambers that were hand-crafted uniquely for our floatation center. Book a float in your favorite tank or chamber, named after one of our inspired heroes Lily, Buck, Amma and Ella.

Custom Float Chambers

  • Manufacturer: Float Spa, custom designed by Dave Seefelt from High-Tech Floatation using fiberglass bottoms with a no-slip surface. Unique to Oakland Floats
  • Size: Chambers measure 4′ wide, 8′ long and 7′ tall inside. Ideal for those wanting more headroom
  • Salt water: 11 inches of water with 800 pounds of Epsom Salt
  • Temperature: Warm 94.5 degree saltwater is maintained to stay at the skin’s average surface skin temperature
  • Filtration: Along with the the salt solution providing a hostile environment for bacteria, water is thoroughly filtered and ozone treated between every appointment
  • Rooms: Private, secure and spacious float room to shower, change, stretch, and float
  • Music: Speakers underneath the water so music softly streams in to let you know your float is over
  • Light: Light button inside of the tank allows you to float with the light on or off and pick the color you like
  • Comfort: Floating head rests, ear plugs and fresh water are provided just outside the tank to use if desired

  • Rooms: Private, secure and spacious float room to change, stretch, and float. Showers right across the hall

  • Music: Speakers underneath the water softly stream in music to let you know your float is over

  • Light: Light button inside of the tank allows you to float with the light on or off

  • Comfort: Floating head rests, ear plugs and fresh water are provided just outside the tank to use if desired

  • Air Flow: New to market air fan continuously cleans and cools the air inside of the tank without sound
